Redlands

In 1819 Redlands Estate was granted to George Frederick Read, the ‘forgotten’ son of King George IV of England.

Redlands has collected many stories over the last 190 years and the richness of it's history has been embodied in the brand identity.

A rugged penal outpost once held up by bushranger Jacky Jacky, a blossoming convict romance and burial site of a notorious English smuggler. What was once the most productive farm in Tasmania is now home to one of two ‘paddock-to-bottle’ malt whisky distilleries in the world.
